Jack finds Sarah, an unconventional and unapologetically un‑British woman, a breath of fresh air. He seems to always land on his feet—first marrying her, then buying a luxurious home. When Sarah goes into labour he tumbles down the stairs, hits his head, and awakens as a proud father of a baby girl, yet remains woefully inadequate as a husband.
