The world never can be changed. Izo, a ruthless assassin serving a Tosa lord and Imperial ally, slays dozens of the Shogun’s men before being captured and crucified. His fury tears him through the space‑time continuum to present‑day Tokyo, where he reforges himself into an even more lethal killing machine.
