Bharath, a taxi driver, is in love with nurse Suseela. He is also a fan of writer Vyjayanthi. Their budding romance becomes the emotional core that threads through the ensuing mystery.

Vyjayanthi rides in Bharath's taxi and mentions a man and his bike that catch her attention. She explains that her late husband died under mysterious circumstances, and she suspects the bike could be connected. She vows to investigate further.

Ganesh saves Suseela from a cabdriver who tries to misbehave with her. He later starts pursuing her inappropriately and warns her to cut ties with Bharath. He is revealed to own the bike Vyjayanthi described, tying him to the mystery.

Suseela tells Bharath about Ganesh's harassment. They encounter Roopala, who is trying to drown herself and laments her abusive husband, Vasanth. Roopala also reveals that a wrong person filmed her nude and is blackmailing her.

They learn that Ganesh is the blackmailer behind Roopala's nude video. Bharath also discovers that Ganesh owns the bike Vyjayanthi mentioned, strengthening his link to the case.

Retired businessman Murugesan tries to hire female escorts but falls into Ganesh's trap, losing money and jewels. The conman Ganesh operates with accomplices, preying on wealthy victims.

Murugesan traces Ganesh's address with Narain Vaidyanathan's help and follows him to Ganesh's house. That same night, Bharath finds Ganesh's address too, hoping to retrieve Roopala's video and warn him away from Suseela.

A neighbour calls the police when they see men lingering near Ganesh's house. Maya is murdered, and Bharath is immediately suspected. He escapes custody and suspects Murugesan, but Murugesan reveals Maya was already dead when he entered.

Narain reveals Ganesh's manipulation of Maya and that Maya had befriended him online. Ganesh threatened both Narain and Maya and stole their money and car. Narain arrives to confront the situation but discovers Maya is dead, and suspects a different killer.

Vasanth has an affair with Anitha, and Ganesh films them to blackmail both for money. Roopala's nude video becomes another bargaining chip in the game. Vasanth agrees to pay after Ganesh uses Roopala's footage against him.

Bharath follows Vasanth to Ganesh, and a fight ensues where Anitha and Ganesh are killed. Bharath explains that Roopala had intended to split the shares and used the men to drive the plot, which turns the investigators into suspects.

Roopala and Vasanth are arrested for the conspiracy, and Bharath is cleared and marries Suseela. The case seems resolved, though the truth behind the web remains murky.

Vyjayanthi reveals she is following Maya's murder and plans to write a book based on the events. She presents an alternate plot where Ganesh films Suseela nude to threaten her, changing Bharath's understanding of the case.

Bharath challenges Vyjayanthi's revised plot and wants to erase both videos. Maya threatens to tell Anitha about Suseela, and Bharath and Suseela confront Ganesh to recover the footage. Maya attacks, but Suseela kills Maya, and they erase the videos.

Bharath learns Vyjayanthi's version and suspects its truth may vary. He later discovers Vyjayanthi is murdered, leaving the question of who killed her unresolved and whether the original plot or Vyjayanthi's rendition is the real story.
