After revealing that she exposed Emily Nelson, played by Blake Lively, for the murder of her father and twin sister Faith, Stephanie has transitioned into a successful true crime vlogger with her channel “A Pinch of Murder.” Additionally, she authored a book titled “The Faceless Blonde,” chronicling her chilling experience with Emily. However, this newfound fame seems to embarrass her son Miles, portrayed by Joshua Satine, especially since it is implied that a swim coach—exposed during her investigation for his heinous crimes and whose life ended tragically in front of her—might have been innocent all along.
As Stephanie drops Miles off at camp, accompanied by her friend Darren, played by Andrew Rannells, and his daughter, she later attends a book signing event alongside her assistant Vicky, played by Alex Newell, as well as fellow friends Sona (Aparna Nancherla) and Stacy (Kelly McCormack).
