Inuyasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time

Inuyasha and his friends have just finished defeating a scorpion demon. Kirara runs off, prompting Miroku and Sango to split from the group and pursue Menōmaru's trail. The team steels themselves for the next confrontation.

Miroku and Sango decide to split from the others after Kirara's disappearance, determined to track Menōmaru to his cave. Their pursuit sets up a dangerous confrontation with the demon’s minions. They steel themselves for the looming battle.

Menōmaru confronts Miroku and Sango with his minions, Ruri and Hari. Ruri copies Miroku's Wind Tunnel, while Hari curses Kirara and seeks to bend the group to her master's will. The battle quickly escalates as the heroes realize the new threats.

In the present day, Kagome steps outside to find Tokyo blanketed in snow caused by Menōmaru's curse. She visits the family shrine and feels the emotional link to Inuyasha through the Sacred Tree. The tree serves as a bridge, letting them communicate across time in thoughts.

Kagome retrieves a fragment of Kikyo's sacred arrow from the tree and shoots it into the well, returning to the Feudal Era. She finds Inuyasha reawakened, thanks to Shippo, Myoga, and Kaede. Their reunion sets the stage for the final battle.

Back in the Feudal era, Miroku defeats Ruri with his wind tunnels, and Sango frees Kirara from her trance. Kirara regains her senses and supports the group as they join Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo for the final stand. The team reforms for the last confrontation.

Face to face with Menōmaru, the group unites for the last stand, coordinating their powers against the demon's overwhelming energy. They press forward in a decisive bid to end his rampage once and for all. The air is crackling with magic as the battle reaches its peak.

Inuyasha channels the Backlash Wave and combines it with Kagome's sacred arrow to kill Hyōga. The combined attack collapses Menōmaru's power and ends his threat. The friends survive the ordeal, though the experience leaves them forever changed.
