Infinity

The film opens with a voiceover explaining the existence of people who remember past lives, called Infinites. There are Believers, who want to use their abilities for shaping the future, and Nihilists, who seek to end reincarnation and use their powers for evil. The conflict revolves around the Nihilists' development of a destructive superweapon, The Egg.

In 1986 in Mexico City, Believer Heinrich Treadway is pursued by Nihilists after acquiring their superweapon, The Egg. He fights to escape with his accomplices by using his powers to jump from a crashing car onto a crane, narrowly avoiding death. As they evade enemies, a mysterious figure destroys their car with a special gun called Dethroner.

Present-day Evan McCauley, a man with a fractured past and schizophrenia, struggles with visions and memories from past lives. During a job interview, he exhibits violent tendencies, hinting at his complex mental state and hidden abilities. His past begins to resurface when he confronts evil figures linked to his memories.

Evan visits a drug dealer named Ronny to obtain medication but notices a shortage. After a confrontation, he disarms Ronny and his gunmen with a sword from his past, emphasizing his combat skills. Evan then flees, overwhelmed by visions of his previous lives, which cause him to collapse.

Evan is detained by Bathurst, who recognizes him as Treadway and attempts to break through his amnesia. Just as Bathurst presses him with threats, a car crashes in, leading Nora Brightman to rescue Evan. This encounter reveals Evan's connection to his past identities.

Nora explains to Evan that he is an Infinite and that his memories of past lives have been returning since he was 14. She takes him to a secret headquarters with other Infinites, where they begin to explore his past to locate The Egg and prevent its destructive potential.

Bathurst and Shin capture Infinite Bryan Porter for information about Evan's whereabouts. Bathurst tortures and then kills Porter using the Dethroner, aiming to force Evan’s team into revealing details about The Egg. The team realizes they must recover more memories to proceed.

Evan undergoes a procedure with Infinite Kovic to unlock his memories but it initially fails. They seek help from The Artisan, who puts Evan into a water chamber for a near-death experience. This process triggers crucial memories of Treadway’s death and the location of The Egg.

Evan and Nora storm Bathurst’s estate to retrieve The Egg. After intense battles, Nora kills Shin, but is severely wounded. Evan fights Bathurst on the plane, and with his powers, they both fall out carrying The Egg. Evan shoots Bathurst with the Dethroner, ending his threat.

Evan deactivates The Egg by shooting Bathurst and then plunges into the ocean to avoid its destruction. Meanwhile, Nora executes a final sacrifice by blowing herself up with the Dethroned Infinites, ensuring their reincarnation and preventing The Egg’s power from spreading.

The film concludes with the idea that the Infinites will reincarnate, as Nora and Abel are shown reuniting in a new life. The Artisan tracks the next reincarnation of Evan, a young boy in Jakarta, hinting at the ongoing cycle and the potential for new adventures or conflicts.
