As a consequence of the destruction caused during their confrontation with the Underminer, the government decides to terminate the Superhero Relocation Program. This means that the heroes, once supported financially, now face uncertainty and a loss of resources.

In an unexpected turn of events, Violet's classmate Tony Rydinger unintentionally discovers her superhero secret. This situation is compounded when Agent Rick Dicker mistakenly wipes Tony's memory of Violet, leading to tension and concern for her secret identity.

Wealthy siblings Winston and Evelyn Deavor present a plan to restore the public's trust in superheroes through covert missions. They propose that Helen, also known as Elastigirl, serves as the face of these missions, highlighting her minimal record of damages.

To support the Parr family in their new roles, Winston provides them with a luxurious mansion. This new home sets the stage for their adventures while also presenting new challenges for the family, especially regarding their dynamic.

As plans unfold, Helen realizes that Screenslaver has tricked her into a trap. After capturing her with a freeze cell that disables her powers, Evelyn reveals her identity as the mastermind behind the villainous plots, driven by a deep-seated grudge against superheroes.

Evelyn lures Bob into a trap aboard the Everjust, where he falls under her control. Unbeknownst to them, Violet and Dash are fighting off the mind-controlled heroes while Lucius tries to provide aid but ends up captured as well.

Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack, realizing their parents are in trouble, stow away on the Everjust. Just in time, they confront a dire situation where they become the key to freeing their parents from mind control and saving the ship.

In a climactic moment, Jack-Jack removes Helen's goggles, enabling her to save Bob and Lucius. Together, they work to liberate the other mind-controlled supers and maneuver the yacht to safety, showcasing their teamwork and determination.

After the disaster is averted, Helen manages to chase down Evelyn, who attempts to escape. Although Evelyn flees for the moment, she is apprehended soon after, leading to a sense of justice for the family.
