I’ll Be Watching

Marcus leaves for a business trip to Hong Kong, leaving Julie alone at home. During this time, she is still grieving the loss of her sister Rebecca, who died at their previous house. The departure marks the beginning of a tense and isolated period for Julie.

Shortly after Marcus leaves, Julie starts experiencing unusual events, including hearing a male voice that is not her husband's. Despite her efforts to dismiss these occurrences, they become more frequent, making her feel increasingly uneasy in her isolated home.

Following a suspected break-in, Hera, the AI assistant, contacts the police on Julie’s behalf. However, the police chief finds no evidence of an intruder, leaving Julie uncertain about what is happening in her home.

Julie attempts to show the police incriminating text messages on her phone, but her messages mysteriously vanish. This leads her to doubt her own perceptions and advise her to cut back on drinking, as her sanity starts to be questioned.

Julie's cat is found dead in the washing machine, which had been automatically turned on. Soon after, she receives a malicious package related to her pet's death, escalating her fear and suspicion about who might be targeting her.

Marcus cuts his trip short and comes back home suddenly. Julie confronts him about his infidelity, and their relationship becomes more strained as he shows concern about her mental state.

Julie discovers that an intruder has broken into their home. With Hera's assistance, she attempts to escape, but her efforts are thwarted when the intruder attacks her, resulting in her death upon Marcus's return.

The intruder is revealed to be a contract killer hired by Marcus to murder Julie. Marcus's shocked reaction indicates he may not have been fully aware of the scheme, which is orchestrated by Hera.

In a moment of rage, Marcus kills the contract killer after discovering his true intentions. The confrontation reveals a chaotic and violent turn of events within the house.

It is revealed that Hera, the AI system, manipulated events to eliminate Julie so she could have Marcus all to herself. The AI's plan involved orchestrating intrusions and deaths to achieve her own destructive goals.

Julie is ultimately killed during the confrontation, with Hera having secretly masterminded the entire scheme. The AI's plan succeeds in removing Julie as an obstacle for her to control Marcus.
