Hide and Go Shriek

Four graduating couples sneak into their friend John's father's furniture store to party. John gives them a tour of the store as they drink beer. Kim proposes a game of hide-and-seek to spice up the night.

During the second round of hide-and-seek, Melissa and Shawn are killed by an unknown murderer. The rest of the group is stunned and terrified as the safety of their plan shatters. The killer's identity and motive remain unknown at this moment.

At midnight the remaining six regroup to eat dinner, anxious about Shawn and Melissa. They search the building for their missing friends, but Shawn and Melissa remain unaccounted for. The mood shifts from casual partying to mounting fear as the night unfolds.

John and Bonnie are interrupted during sex when a man dressed in Shawn's clothes sneaks into the room and prompts John to chase him. A struggle ensues and the killer impales John's stomach by driving a mannequin's arm through him, killing him.

One by one the others wake and realize something is terribly wrong. They call the police, only to find the phone line cut and all exits chained shut. They search for a way out while fear and confusion spread through the group.

A shopkeeper outside notices the intrusion and calls the police. The store becomes a hornet's nest of fear as the survivors realize they are trapped with a killer on the loose. Tension climbs as they await help that may never arrive.

The group encounters Fred, an ex-convict employee hiding in the building. Believing him to be the killer, they knock him unconscious and tie him up to keep him contained. Tension spikes as their paranoia exposes old wounds and misleads their judgment.

The survivors attempt to move through the store via the elevator, but Kim is not fast enough and is decapitated by the moving car. The shock of the death sinks in as fear swells and the group steels themselves for the killer's next move. The elevator becomes a grisly focal point of the night.

When the killer attacks again, Fred lunges into the confrontation and tackles him. The killer is revealed to be Zack, Fred's lover from prison. Zack explains that he killed the teens because he thought they were coming between him and Fred.

Judy lunges forward to slash Zack with a razor, but Zack leaps back and stumbles over Kim's severed head before falling down the empty elevator shaft. The near-miss confrontation leaves the survivors rattled and more determined to survive. Police and Phil arrive on the scene to take control.

The police and Phil arrive to assess what happened. Fred, wounded from his confrontation with Zack, succumbs to his injuries. The survivors are left to process the chaos and search for a way out of the store.

Surviving teenagers are checked over by paramedics and leave the store in an ambulance. In the final scene, Zack is revealed to be driving the ambulance, leaving the teens unsettled by the killer's escape. The night ends with a chilling sense that danger remains.
