Hell of a Summer

John and Kathy, the owners of Camp Pineway, are relaxing by the lakeside when tragedy strikes. A masked killer murders John by shoving an acoustic guitar into his mouth and brutally kills Kathy with a knife in her skull.

Eleven counselors arrive at Camp Pineway a day early to prepare for the opening of the camp. Among them is Jason Hochberg, an experienced counselor, who is quickly assigned a leadership role after discovering an alarming note about John and Kathy.

As night falls, the group of counselors decides to split up, leading to dire consequences. Jason discovers the gruesome murder of Demi but faces disbelief from the other counselors as they think it's a prank.

When Jason attempts to show the body of Demi, they find her corpse has vanished, intensifying the group's panic. Noelle insists the blood from the bed is indeed Demi's, escalating fears among the counselors.

In a desperate attempt to escape, the counselors rush to their cars only to discover that none of the engines will start. This revelation heightens their sense of dread as they realize they are trapped.

Two more counselors, Miley and Mike, go missing under mysterious circumstances in the mess hall. The remaining group barricades themselves in a cabin, but their sense of safety quickly deteriorates.

Ezra, Jason, and Ari venture out to search for Miley and Mike but are horrified to find Miley’s severed head hidden in the fridge of the mess hall. The shocking discovery leads to utter panic and chaos among the group.

Ari, now separated from the group, is attacked and mortally wounded due to his peanut allergy. The killer exploits his vulnerability, dragging his lifeless body away while the others remain oblivious to his fate.

Tension escalates within the group during a ouija board session that supposedly reveals Jason as the killer. In a fit of paranoia, Bobby ties Jason up, leading to a confrontation that puts everyone on edge.

Claire manages to save Jason from being subdued and convinces him to flee into the woods. Jason chooses to return to rescue the others, showcasing his bravery despite Claire's insistence to abandon the camp.

Another counselor, Noelle, meets a horrific end when she is murdered by the killers, who bash her head with a rock. This brutal act solidifies the group's understanding that they are being hunted.

The killers, disguised as counselors, are eventually revealed to be Demi and Mike, who orchestrated the chaos for fame and notoriety. As they blend in with the group, suspicion grows, leading to dramatic confrontations.

Bobby finds himself pursued by Mike, leading to a deadly confrontation within a cabin. In a desperate struggle, Bobby manages to kill Mike, but the cabin ends up engulfed in flames.

In a dramatic moment, Claire finds Jason tied up and, recalling their past archery lessons, shoots Demi in the eye with an arrow. This act of defiance allows them to escape together as they face the inferno behind them.

The remaining survivors, including Chris, Bobby, Shannon, Claire, and Jason, band together following the chaos. As emotions flare, Shannon confesses her love to Chris, while Jason and Claire rekindle their relationship with a passionate kiss.
