Bhediya

Road contractor Bhaskar, Varun Dhawan, accompanied by his cousin Jana, visits Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, on a road construction assignment. There, they are welcomed by local residents Jomin, Paalin Kabak, a friend of Bhaskar, and Panda, Deepak Dobriyal, who show them around. One night, a wolf attacks Bhaskar, bites him, and he is rushed to a local doctor Anika, Kriti Sanon, who reveals herself to be a vet. Despite her inexperience, she treats him.

The next day, Bhaskar notices he has heightened senses of smell and hearing and discovers he can now communicate with animals. At the same time, the local tribes and residents strongly oppose the project, arguing it would require deforestation and threaten the forest ecosystem.

Following the deaths of two officials involved in the project due to alleged animal attacks, Bhaskar confides in his friends that he has become a shape-shifting werewolf ever since the bite, and that he has been responsible for the murders, though he has little control over his actions. They decide to chain Bhaskar at night in a remote location to prevent further attacks. A police officer discovers the truth and intimidates Bhaskar, but he is subsequently attacked and killed by the wolf that bit him. Horrified, Bhaskar and his friends consult a Shaman, who asserts that Bhaskar could be cured only if he is bitten by the same werewolf on a New Moon night at the same place. He then goes to the place with Jana and Jomin and realizes that Anika is the werewolf.

Anika reveals that she was bitten by a werewolf over a century ago and has since served as the guardian of the forest. She explains that she was initially intent on killing Bhaskar for his involvement in the project but chose to spare him after recognizing his kindness and humanity. Anika is subsequently shot and captured by the local police, but Bhaskar transforms himself into a wolf and comes to her rescue. They subdue the cops and go to a cliff, where Anika succumbs to her wounds and dies, leaving Bhaskar, who has fallen in love with her, devastated. He announces that the road will be rerouted along the forest’s border, thereby avoiding deforestation.

In the post-credits scene, as Jana chains Bhaskar to contain his transformations, his friends Vicky Rajkummar Rao and Bittu Aparshakti Khurana pay him a visit and plead with him to return home, seeking his help with a new issue. Bhaskar transforms into a werewolf and suddenly appears in front of them, leaving them terrified.
