The celebratory moment takes a violent turn when a masked killer known as 'Heart Eyes' attacks, stabbing the photographer, Nico, through the face. Patrick narrowly escapes death when the killer fires an arrow at him, prompting Adeline to flee for her life.

As Adeline attempts to escape inside the facility, Heart Eyes kills a security guard and traps her in a grape press machine. In a horrifying act, she is crushed to death, marking the killer’s first brutal act in Seattle.

News of Heart Eyes' murderous spree fills Seattle's media, revealing his history of targeting couples, particularly on Valentine's Day. This establishes a tense atmosphere as the killer continues to strike fear into the hearts of those in love.

In an unexpected turn of events, ad designer Ally meets charming Jay at a coffee shop. Their encounter is filled with awkwardness as Ally accidentally gives Jay a bloody nose, setting a light-hearted tone amid the surrounding chaos.

Ally faces backlash at work for pitching a perfume ad featuring doomed couples, coinciding with the ongoing Heart Eyes murders. Her boss, Crystal, brings in Jay to help with the ad campaign, and he later asks Ally out to dinner under the guise of business.

During dinner, the conversation takes a serious turn as Ally expresses her bitterness about love, while Jay remains optimistic. Their interaction takes a complicated turn when Ally attempts to impress her ex, resulting in a hasty kiss with Jay.

In a final showdown, Ally and Jay team up to fight Heart Eyes, utilizing improvised weapons. After a tense battle, they succeed in killing him, but not before Ally's traumatic reaction to the violence leads her to vomit on his lifeless body.

One year after the harrowing events, Ally and Jay have become a couple and partners at work, creating successful campaigns. As they revisit the drive-in, Jay proposes to Ally, and she surprises him by proposing back, sealing their love.

During the credits, Ally receives a mysterious phone call that leaves her unsettled. Although it's just a friend, the call ends abruptly, hinting at lingering dangers from the past and keeping the viewers on edge.
