Halloween (2007)

Ten-year-old Michael Myers struggles with intense bullying at school and a tumultuous home life in Haddonfield, Illinois. His mother, Deborah, works in a strip club while dealing with violent conflicts with her boyfriend, Ronnie, which only adds to Michael's emotional distress.

Michael retreats into a world of rage, often hiding behind a Halloween clown mask and exhibiting sociopathic tendencies. Despite his violent behaviors towards pets, he shows love only for his baby sister, highlighting his complex emotional state.

After killing a driver at a truck stop and stealing his clothes, Michael returns to the now-empty Myers residence. He searches for the butcher knife and one of his masks, marking the beginning of his horrifying return.

We meet Laurie Strode, a caring teen with the burden of her father's attempts to sell the long-abandoned Myers house. During a visit, she unknowingly attracts Michael's attention, setting the stage for his deadly obsession.

As Laurie spends Halloween with her friends Annie and Lynda, she becomes ensnared in festive celebrations while unknowingly being stalked by Michael. The mounting pressure from both social and supernatural threats leaves her anxious.
