Butch escapes from prison, murders a prison officer, and poses as the officer's corpse to vanish into the remote Grizzly Park. Butch rounds up eight troubled teenagers and brings them into Grizzly Park under the guise of a community rehabilitation program. Ranger Bob teams with the group while Ranger Mike stays with Butch at the park entrance. Butch quickly stabs Ranger Mike to death before the group can enter Grizzly Park. The violent act clears the way for Butch to proceed with his plan.

Shortly after the confrontation at the park entrance, a large Grizzly bear attacks and kills Butch. The bear’s attack abruptly ends Butch’s threat and shifts the danger squarely onto the group.

Ty and KiKi sneak off; KiKi is killed by a wolf and Ty by a bear

During the hike, Ty and KiKi slip away from the group, seeking private moments away from the others. Ty becomes trapped in a wolf snare, and his blood lures a wolf that kills KiKi. The surviving Ty is then slain by a Grizzly bear.

Scab leaves the group to inhale gas, fueling a drugged state. Trickster dresses in a bear costume to scare the others, fueling the sense of misdirection. While Scab’s trip continues, the bear attacks and kills him, the death going unnoticed because of Trickster’s prank.

Moments later, the bear attacks again, decapitating Trickster and mauling Lola in half. The group’s attempts to defend themselves are futile against the towering predator. The park’s threats grow more immediate and deadly.

Ryan dies in the shed while Candy and Bebe watch

Ryan, Candy, and Bebe shelter in a shed as the bear strikes. Ryan is dragged out and mauled after thinking the danger has passed. Candy and Bebe try to pull him back inside, but Ryan’s arms are torn off, making the death inevitable.

The bear assaults the shed again. Bebe escapes by slamming a door in Candy’s face, leaving Candy to be killed by the bear. The group’s numbers shrink further as the park’s predator continues to hunt.

The next morning, Ranger Bob returns to find a distressed Bebe preparing to leave the camp. She admits manipulating Ranger Bob and plotting murder with Lola’s gun. As she exits the cabin, the bear attacks again and kills Bebe, ripping out her breast implant in the process.

A television news report explains the killings as the work of Butch who supposedly dressed as a bear to kill the victims before escaping.
