Nadja is a former ballet dancer whose entire life has revolved around a single, uncompromising pursuit: perfection in movement, in her body, and in discipline. From a young age, she was trained to push beyond limits, often at the expense of personal relationships and a normal, unstructured life. That single-minded dedication has taken a steep toll on her body, leaving her in chronic pain and relying on painkillers to meet the demands of teaching dance. Her world feels rigid, controlled, and emotionally distant, a place where connections with others rarely take root—until she unexpectedly reconnects with the son she once gave up.

Nadja’s body itself becomes a visible map of her suffering: feet that are calloused and bloody, skin showing the signs of long-term stress, and a life lived in quiet agony.
