Tragedy befalls a young boy and his over‑protective mother. Julien cherishes his mum, but as he reaches adolescence and dates a girl his own age, his mother refuses to accept it. She insists he will forever remain her baby, supported by her indifferent, bovine husband. Only Suzanne, his sympathetic older sister, intervenes courageously, briefly challenging the mother’s crusade.
