Their connection is tight, their plans small, but the pressure to keep hustling grows with every run-in they have with trouble.

Over time, peer pressure pushes them toward bolder schemes, and the stakes suddenly feel higher than their talent or wit can handle. The misadventures spiral into actions that damage reputations and threaten their future, culminating in their expulsion from college. The group barely escapes the worst consequences due to luck and quick improvisation.

During a tense woods retreat, Laxman confesses that his mother once worked as a maid for a government officer, hinting at the pressures of class climb and achievement. He explains how those expectations steer his choices and fuel his willingness to take risks for a better future.

Madhav endured a rough childhood, with constant fights between his parents, which hardened his mind into something calculating and pragmatic. He explains that this upbringing taught him to plan and control outcomes, even if it means bending rules.

Lucky reveals that his father left him and his mother, and his mutism made him an outsider who endured ridicule from step-siblings. He describes learning to listen and observe as a survival strategy, rather than seeking loud attention.

The plan hinges on fooling the couple and managing the incoming danger.

Nirali, the lively girl-next-door, arrives and suddenly gives the group a new motive and the means to chase her. Their attempts to win her over do not go as planned, adding humor and jealousy to the tense situation. The stakes widen beyond mere schemes.

A gangster named Babli joins the fray, pressing to steal the chest rumored to be hidden in the blind couple's home. The presence of Babli raises danger and pushes the group to act more decisively.

Pandu, the assassin who had been working for Babli, switches sides after discovering the truth about Sameer. He joins Gopal and the others to fend off Babli's gang, tilting the balance of the confrontation.

The hidden chest is found behind an old painting, containing a compass box, a toy gun, a toy car, and an urn of ashes. Somnath reveals the truth: Sameer and his parents were killed in a car crash, and the ashes were kept by Somnath and Mangala for years, with Mangala only later learning of the full deception. The revelation shatters Mangala's trust and intensifies the confrontation.

In the climactic clash, Pandu's defection helps the foursome fight Babli's gang, but Babli stabs Gopal in the butt during a last-ditch attack. Gopal is rushed to the hospital where the knife is removed and Babli is arrested. The immediate danger subsides, and the friends face the consequences of the night’s pandemonium.

The group is rewarded with ten percent of the diamonds' original value for aiding in Babli's capture, a modest measure of justice for their earlier misdeeds. Nirali chooses Lucky as her husband, valuing loyalty and the ability to truly listen over charm and deceit.
