Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters

The story takes place across three main locations: Tau-e, a distant planet chosen for human colonization; Earth orbit, where reconnaissance drones monitor the planet's surface; and Earth itself, which has been drastically altered after thousands of years of Godzilla's dominance. The narrative shifts from a spacefaring expedition to a survival struggle on a ruined planet.

The movie is set approximately 20,000 years after humanity fled Earth. Due to relativistic time dilation from the interstellar voyage, the crew experiences only a fraction of this time, while Earth ages enormously.
