Missiles from the Gotengo trigger a cave-in that entombs Godzilla beneath the Antarctic ice. The trapped king of monsters remains hidden for decades, a looming threat as humanity clutches at fragile peace. The incident casts a long shadow over future EDF operations and mutant politics.

An upgraded Gotengo defeats the sea-dwelling Manda in the English Channel near Normandy, leaving the ship badly battered. Captain Gordon is suspended from the EDF, and Ensign Shin’ichi Ozaki is tasked with guarding UN biologist Miyuki Otonashi. The loss reframes leadership and duty aboard the warship.

Ozaki and Miyuki are suddenly teleported to Infant Island, where the Shobijin reveal that the mummified creature is Gigan, an ancient extraterrestrial cyborg. They warn of an imminent clash between forces of good and evil and urge Ozaki to choose a side. The revelation sets the stage for a larger power struggle that will test loyalties.

Rodan launches a devastating assault on New York City, shaking the skyline with its aerial fury. The EDF scrambles to mount a defense as chaos unfolds across the metropolis.

Zilla invades Sydney, unleashing chaos over the harbor and urban districts. EDF forces rush to contain the intruder and minimize civilian casualties.

Godzilla defeats Gigan and leads a final clash toward Tokyo as Gorath is summoned and destroyed, only for Monster X to rise from the wreckage. The Shobijin bless Ozaki, unlocking a Keizer-like power that helps Ghidorah fall before Godzilla and Minilla retreat to the sea.
