God of Gamblers

Ko Chun arrives in Tokyo with his girlfriend Janet and his cousin Ko Yee to face Tokyo's top gambler, Ueyama. He defeats Ueyama in Mahjong and dice, and Ueyama concedes that Ko Chun is the God of Gamblers. He keeps his identity secret, avoiding public photographs.

Ueyama asks Chun to help take revenge on Chan Kam-sing, the Demon of Gamblers, who cheated his father and drove him to suicide. Chun accepts, asking for nothing more than a box of Feodora-brand chocolate as payment. To ensure Chun's safety, Ueyama sends his bodyguard Dragon to accompany him.

Chun travels to face Chan Kam-sing in a high-stakes poker match and wins decisively, proving his phenomenal skill. Chan concedes the victory but vows to retaliate.

Chan Kam-sing retaliates by sending two thugs to attack Chun. Chun fights them off with Dragon's help, reaffirming the danger he faces even after his earlier victory.

Little Knife's prank traps an Indian neighbor, but the ensuing confrontation leads to a chaotic fight on a moving train. During the fight, Ko Chun stumbles into Knife's trap, falls, hits his head, and loses his memory, regressing to a childlike state.

Knife finds the amnesiac man and names him 'Chocolate' because of his love for Feodora-brand chocolate. He recognises Chocolate's innate gambling talent and begins using him in local poker games and gambling dens.

Back at Ko Chun's mansion, Janet has been missing for ten days. Ko Yee advances on her and, during the confrontation, knocks her off the balcony, killing her. He later discovers she had recorded what happened and burns the tape.

Ko Yee allies with Chan Kam-sing and other rivals, planning to eliminate Chun. He also retrieves Janet's recording and burns it to cover his tracks.

Assassins locate Chun, Knife, and their friends; Dragon arrives to protect them and a fierce shootout erupts in a shopping centre. Knife saves Chun from an attack on Ko Yee, and Dragon is wounded; Chun regains his adult persona briefly to kill the remaining assailants, then regresses to a childlike state and is struck by a vehicle while fleeing.

Chun awakens in hospital with his regular persona and no memory of the events; Ko Yee, feigning loyalty, informs him that Janet killed herself. Knife arrives and warns Chun of Yee's treachery, but Yee has Knife thrown out. Yee then gives Chan Kam-sing special eyeglasses to help him cheat during the upcoming poker match.

On Chan Kam-sing's yacht, the climactic five-card stud game begins with Chan using eyeglasses to read card markings. Chun counters by secretly altering the deck and using his own contact lenses to read the cards, gaining the upper hand. He then tricks Chan into shooting Ko Yee, and Janet's tape falls on Yee's body as police arrive to arrest Chan.

Ko Chun later surprises Knife at his home, admitting that he remembered Knife in the hospital and that he knew about Ko Yee's betrayal all along; he had to feign ignorance to execute his plan properly. He invites Knife to Las Vegas as his gambling partner.
