WWII sergeant Robert “Sgt. Savage” Savage is betrayed by fellow soldier Krieger, who kills his squad, experiments on him and freezes him in a secret bunker. Decades later G.I. Joe discovers the bunker; Savage emerges with super‑human abilities and leads the Screaming Eagles. Krieger, now General Blitz, leads the IRON Army, and Savage must stop him.
