Game Night

Max and Annie meet at a trivia competition in a bar, leading to a strong connection. Their shared love for games kicks off a whirlwind romance that quickly blossoms into marriage.

After their marriage, Max and Annie face difficulties on their journey to parenthood. Max is constantly troubled by the comparison to his more successful brother, Brooks, which begins to put a strain on their relationship.

The couple enjoys regular game nights with their friends, including Ryan, Kevin, and Michelle. This community bonding, however, becomes a source of jealousy for Max when Brooks enters the scene.

Brooks makes a grand entrance at one of the game nights, showcasing his flashy Corvette Stingray. His arrogance exacerbates Max's insecurities, leading Annie to huddle with Max for a plan to outsmart Brooks.

Determined to beat Brooks at his own game, Max and Annie plan a game night at Brooks' rented house. They must keep their scheme hidden from their estranged neighbor, Gary, adding an extra layer of tension.

When the game night begins, Brooks reveals a live-action role-playing mystery game with the added twist of a prize—his Corvette. The guests, amused and intrigued, kick off what they assume will be a fun evening.

The playful atmosphere is shattered when masked intruders burst into the house, taking Brooks hostage. Initially believing it's part of the game, the group quickly realizes they are in a dire situation.

As Brooks is taken away, the couples begin piecing together clues left behind, convinced it's part of the mystery. It soon becomes clear that they're involved in a much darker reality than they imagined.

Using Brooks' phone GPS, Max and Annie lead the charge to rescue him while their friends explore game-related leads. Their quest leads them to a shady bar, where the dangers become all too real.

Upon discovering Brooks tied up, the group learns of his involvement in an illegal scheme involving a Fabergé egg. The stakes escalate as they mistakenly fire at a fictional threat, realizing the gravity of their situation.

As they delve deeper into Brooks' world, the group faces dangerous scenarios and powerful criminals, including a mysterious figure known as the Bulgarian who demands the egg. Tensions rise within the group as they confront their fears.

Gary unexpectedly comes to the group's rescue, revealing his plan to reconnect with them after being estranged. His intervention adds another twist to the already complicated situation.

In a desperate attempt to thwart Brooks' impending capture, Max and Annie hotwire Brooks' Corvette. This audacious act becomes crucial as they try to prevent a flight that would take Brooks away from them.

Months later, as Brooks finds himself under house arrest yet profits from his past dealings, the close-knit group comes together to celebrate. Annie reveals her pregnancy, filling the night with joy, until armed assailants crash the party.
