Futurama: Bender’s Big Score

Two years after the Box Network cancels Planet Express's contract, executives are fired and the company is back on the air. The crew celebrates, but Hermes is decapitated in the revelry and his wife LaBarbara walks out on him. His head is placed in a jar while his body is repaired.

Three alien scammers obtain the crew's personal information and infect Bender with an obedience virus, seizing control of Planet Express. They plan to steal valuables from Earth's past and the doomsday device. The crew remains unaware of the hijacking at this stage.

During a delivery to a nude beach planet, Leela discovers a tattoo of Bender on Fry's buttocks. The tattoo hints at a hidden code and the power of time travel. The discovery confirms the scammers' leverage over Fry.

The tattoo is revealed to encode a time-travel trigger that reaches into the past. Nibbler attempts to warn the crew against using it, but his advice is ignored. The plan to control history quickly escalates.

The scammers have Bender use the code to steal objects from Earth's past and the doomsday device from Professor Farnsworth. They hide the loot in a cave beneath the Planet Express building. The theft kicks off a race against time to stop them.

Desperate to win back LaBarbara, Hermes has Bender retrieve an earlier version of his body. The plan relies on a version of his body from the past, setting up further complications for the crew. The operation strains the crew's relationships even more.

Leela's romance with Lars begins, deepening Fry's sense of loss and jealousy. The love triangle adds pressure as the scammers' time-heist spirals out of control. Fry's mood worsens as he watches others move on.

Fry uses the code to jump to January 1, 2000, right after his cryogenic freezing. Bender follows, and a duplicate Bender arrives after an accidental bathroom incident. Later, a second Bender from a later moment also shows up, compounding the chaos.

The original Bender spends twelve years hunting Fry, and Fry seems to die when that Bender blows up his apartment. The scammers erase the time code and the virus, leaving the timeline in flux. The past and present start to intertwine in dangerous ways.

Fry reappears after waking a thousand years in the future, explaining that a duplicate stayed in the past while he fell into his cryogenic tube with the original. The surviving present Fry then freezes himself again to align with the current year. The timeline now resembles a long loop.

Nibbler removes Fry's tattoo to prevent further abuse from the scammers. Leela and Lars plan their wedding, but Hermes is decapitated again at the ceremony. Farnsworth explains that time-paradox duplicates are doomed to die prematurely, which unsettles Lars.

The scammers trick President Nixon into ceding Earth to them, exiling humanity to Neptune. Hermes has his brain wired into the ship's battle computer, helping destroy the scammers' fleet. Leela fires the doomsday device, destroying the scammers' ship after Bender regains the device for himself.

Lars is revealed to be the Fry duplicate who survived Bender's 2012 attack and froze himself to return for Leela. Bender swaps Lars's tattoo onto Fry in the cryogenic tube to make the past and present coherent. The surviving Bender dupes explode, tearing a hole in space-time as Nibbler urges evacuation.
