Fear Island

College friends Kyle, Tyler, Ashley, Jenna, and Mark meet for a weekend getaway at Kyle and Tyler's family cabin on a remote island. They encounter Megan, who hides on their boat, seeking to join their trip, adding an unexpected member to their group.

During the night, Tyler initially shows romantic interest in Megan but quickly changes his mind upon learning her age. In a careless moment, he gives Ashley’s dog tequila and allows it outside alone, demonstrating a risky behavior among the group.

The next day, while searching for her missing dog, Ashley finds the body of Keith, who is revealed to be Tyler and Kyle’s half-brother. The discovery indicates that the group’s weekend is turning deadly with an ominous presence lurking.

The group realizes their only way off the island, the boat, is missing. While searching, Ashley is locked in a hot tub by the killer, and when her friends find her dead body, they store it in the freezer for safekeeping.

Kyle goes missing, raising suspicion. The remaining friends hear his screams from the woods as Tyler drops his nail gun, which the killer then uses on him, leaving the group frightened and vulnerable.

Hearing Kyle’s screams, the survivors find only a walkie-talkie used by Kyle, who repeatedly says “Atonement.” This hints at a dark past or motive, escalating the tension among the group.

Tyler confesses that he met Regina at a party, they slept together, and he secretly videotaped her. When Regina tried to leave, she fell and hit her head, dying instantly. Tyler and Kyle then buried her body on the island.

While digging for Regina’s body, the group uncovers Kyle’s dead body instead, revealing the extent of their tragic and murderous past, and deepening the mystery surrounding the events.

Megan warns the others that Keith, who is also at the house, is the real killer. Tyler encounters a snake and is bitten fatally. Meanwhile, Jenna admits that she knew about Regina’s death but didn’t stop Tyler and Kyle.

Jenna, Megan, and others hunt for Megan, who ultimately kills Keith in a confrontation. Jenna and Megan escape to the dock, revealing the tangled web of past crimes and revenge.

In the hospital, Jenna falsely claims self-defense, then reveals she is actually Megan, who escapes in the doctor's vehicle. The ending shows her leaving the hospital, leaving her fate ambiguous.
