Fat Albert

At Ardsley High School, Doris Robertson is approached by her foster sister Laurie in the hallway. Laurie invites Doris out for ice cream before track practice, but Doris declines to go home for her track shoes.

As Doris heads home, track star Reggie and his sidekick Arthur attempt to ask Laurie to a party. Doris, feeling left out when Reggie assumes she was invited, runs home distressed, highlighting her feelings of loneliness.
