India is introduced after being ripped off by a porn producer. Moments later, two gay bashers chase them through the streets, and Destiny steps in with a gun drawn on the attackers. The tense encounter forges an uneasy alliance between India and Destiny.

Destiny vandalizes one of the bashers' Jeeps and retrieves a coat from a retreating assailant. She then invites India to come stay with her, offering a rough, makeshift family. Through Destiny's gesture, India meets Lester, another of Destiny's 'orphans.'

The next morning, India learns Destiny is a porn director and contemplates revenge. He agrees to kill the producer and heads to the producer's home with a gun. When he pulls the trigger, he discovers the gun is unloaded, leaving him empty and more exposed.

A few days later, Destiny, India, and Lester meet Spencer and decide to take him in. They spend the night together, forming a tight, unconventional bond. Inside Spencer's coat, they discover the basher's address and decide to confront him.

India and Spencer reach the basher's neighborhood and argue over whether to bash or try to save him. Destiny's philosophy—that bashers may be repressed gays in need of saving—begins to shape their choices. Basher Guy reveals he is gay and confesses love for his roommate Quentin, who wrestles with his own sexuality and contemplates suicide before a brother interrupts.

Destiny tells Vic she loves him, and he reciprocates, but the moment is interrupted by the sight of Guy. Vic leaves for work and passes India, Spencer, and Guy with a gun in their hands, leading to a tense confrontation about Destiny's ties to a cop. Destiny identifies Guy, who leaves briefly before healing returns, while India and Spencer search for him in vain.

Guy returns to Destiny's apartment and apologizes for the earlier confrontation. Destiny forgives him, and Lester nicknames him 'Killer.' The group’s makeshift family grows more complex as conflicting loyalties surface. India and Spencer are drawn deeper into the moral improvisation of their vigilante life.

During another interruption of a gay bash, a basher strikes Destiny with a baseball bat and she retaliates by shooting him. Vic comforts Destiny afterward, warning her to be careful around her kids. The incident cements their grim code and their stories become almost police-like in tone.

Quentin arrives to find Guy in bed with India and Spencer and demands they come away with him, choosing straightness over the life they share. He confesses his love for Guy, breaks down, and the two kiss as they reconcile complicated feelings. The moment crystallizes a shift toward staying and resisting the outside world.

India urges Spencer not to bomb his parents, but Spencer insists he would help if he truly wants to destroy the straight world. They kiss again, each kiss acting like a bomb in its own right as they declare they will blow up the whole world they fear. The couple finds resolve in their union as they imagine a revolutionary future together.
