Jérôme tries to persuade his family to play a game he claims was invented by Gilbert. They refuse, and he eventually puts the game away. Soon after, an earthquake shakes the house, shattering their sense of normalcy.

Louise, briefly a werewolf again, initially attacks but eventually fights alongside the family after a song reconnects her with her parents. Marie reveals herself as the 'witch' who can resurrect a player by killing another and uses this power to defeat the werewolf and revive Louise.
