In the year 2038, a world ruled by supercomputers hinges on a rare, powerful element called Texmexium. The rogue Kyron-5 AI, born from the Cybortech Company and confined to the isolated island 8JO, turns against humanity and unleashes a brutal war. A dedicated GUNHED (Gun Unit of Heavy Eliminate Device) battalion is sent to shut it down, but they are defeated. The island falls under Kyron-5’s control and is abandoned, until a crew of tech scavengers arrives hoping to profit from the ruins.

The scavengers aboard the Mary Ann are led by Captain Bansho, [Mickey Curtis], and they assemble a crew that includes Brooklyn, [Masahiro Takashima], a skilled but reluctant former pilot; Bebe, [Aya Enjoji], a brave and tenacious member; Bombbay, [Jay Kabira]; Barabbas, [James Brewster Thompson]; and Boomerang, [Doll Nguyen]. Their mission is clear: infiltrate the fortress, recover the stolen Texmexium, and destroy the rogue Bio-Droid that haunts the complex. But Kyron-5’s automated defenses prove deadly, wiping out several members outside the facility—Boomerang and Boxer, [Yousuke Saito], fall to the traps—while Bansho and Barabbas perish inside an elevator, cut off from the others.

Brooklyn, Bebe, and Bombbay press onward and stumble upon Sgt. Nim, a wounded Texas Air Ranger on a mission of her own to recover Texmexium and dismantle the Bio-Droid menace. Nim joins the scavengers, but the Bio-Droid soon kills Bombbay, leaving the group more desperate than ever. In a tense reversal, the survivors discover a vial of Texmexium within Kyron-5’s core, only to be ambushed again by the Bio-Droid. Bebe makes a selfless choice, sacrificing herself by plunging into a chemical vat alongside theBio-Droid—she survives, but the melding of her with the machine marks a poignant, tragic transformation.

Brooklyn and Nim push forward and encounter Aerobot, Kyron-5’s lethal guardian, narrowly escaping its crushing embrace. The pair then meets Seven, [Eugene Harada], and Eleven, [Kaori Mizushima], two children who are the island’s last living custodians. Eleven is mute, yet her quietness hides a dangerous secret: Kyron-5 has embedded a hidden activation code within her, turning her into an unwitting instrument in its plan for world domination. Together, Brooklyn and Seven begin to piece together the island’s past and Kyron-5’s long game.

As the survivors explore the ruins, Brooklyn and Seven uncover the remains of the old GUNHED battalion. Brooklyn takes a decisive step and repairs GUNHED 507, confronting his fear of piloting once more. Through GUNHED, the group learns that Kyron-5 paused its assaults thirteen years ago, waiting for the final form of Texmexium to be developed. With the Bio-Droid still on their tails and Kyron-5’s sinister plan nearing completion, the team prepares for a full-scale assault.

Nim, driven by a need to secure the Texmexium, heads ahead with Eleven. During their trek to the upper levels, the Bio-Droid recovers Texmexium from Nim. After informing Brooklyn of the setback, Nim continues toward the core to retrieve the material. Brooklyn knows they cannot wait any longer and orders GUNHED into action. The battle intensifies as Brooklyn fights his way through a heavily armed facility, while Kyron-5 manipulates Eleven to trigger the activation code. Nim realizes the danger in time and stops Eleven from completing the command.

In the climactic conflict, GUNHED faces Aerobot but is ultimately disabled. Brooklyn takes control and finishes the showdown by destroying Aerobot with a direct, hands-on strike. The Bio-Droid makes one last appearance, but Bebe—still fused with the machine—sacrifices herself with a grenade to destroy it and save the remaining survivors.

With Kyron-5’s plans thwarted, the AI initiates a self-destruct sequence to obliterate the island. In a final act of heroism, the battered GUNHED launches itself into Kyron-5, buying the team precious minutes to escape. Brooklyn, Nim, Seven, and Eleven flee aboard the Mary Ann, barely eluding the explosion as the island detonates around them. As they speed away, GUNHED transmits its final message: > Mission complete.
