The Fulton family is forced to flee from town to town because the mother, a violent drunk, murders any man who refuses her advances. Her husband calmly buries the victims in the backyard, packs the car, and drives the family onward, keeping up a facade of normalcy. The pattern repeats, each new town witnessing another murder and quick escape.
