Dushmani: A Violent Love Story

Bitter enmity spans generations between the Singh and Oberoi clans. The current generation centers on Suraj Singh and his elder brother Jai, with Jai living a gangster's life while Suraj avoids violence. The feud shapes their choices and foreshadows the tragedy to come.

Suraj meets Sapna and they fall in love despite the clan divide. Sapna's being Oberoi's sister complicates the romance, as loyalties are tested by blood ties. They begin secretly nurturing the relationship while weighing the cost of a bridge between families.

Suraj and Sapna persuade Jai and the Singh family to drop the feud and permit their marriage. The families come to accept the union, hoping a shared future might heal old wounds. A fragile peace seems possible as plans for the wedding move forward.

Oberoi's men ambush Suraj's friend Raghu, leaving him severely injured. The assault pushes Suraj from restraint into a vow of vengeance against Oberoi and his criminal empire. Raghu's condition becomes a catalyst for escalating violence.

A group of Oberoi's men targets Jai with automatic weapons, leaving him mortally wounded. He is rushed to the hospital where his condition remains dire. The attempted murder shatters the emerging peace and drags Suraj back into vengeance.

Suraj learns that Oberoi's forces carried out the attack on Jai and swears to end Oberoi and his empire. He steels himself for a confrontation that could determine the future of both families. The vow signals a return to a violent mission.

Suraj and Jai join forces to battle Oberoi's men, pushing toward Oberoi himself. During the confrontation, Suraj wounds Oberoi, delivering a major blow to the criminal empire. The fight edges closer to a final reckoning.

Before dying, Oberoi tells Jai he was wrong about love and seeks forgiveness. He betrays Jai and stabs him with a knife, ending Jai's life. The murder underscores Oberoi's ruthless manipulation and the price of the alliance.

Enraged by Jai's death, Suraj tracks down Oberoi and finishes him off, ending the tyrant's reign. The victory comes at the cost of his brother and the peace they sought. Suraj's mission of vengeance reaches its conclusion.

In the aftermath, Suraj and Sapna come together, choosing a hopeful future despite the loss. Suraj scatters Jai's ashes in the lake, honoring his brother while acknowledging the cycles of vengeance have ended. The film closes on a bittersweet note of love and reconciliation.
