Dunston Checks In

Lionel Spalding and his devoted dog Neil make a grand entrance at the Majestic Hotel, excited for their vacation. However, their joy is short-lived as they are abruptly soaked by a water barrage unleashed by Kyle Grant and his brother Brian.

The hotel manager is fraught with tension due to the antics of the Grant brothers. Their father, Robert, grapples with disappointment as this marks the third time their vacation plans have been canceled by the hotel's owner, Elena Dubrow.

As tensions rise, a notorious jewel thief known as 'Lord' Rutledge checks into the hotel with his orangutan accomplice, Dunston. Dunston, who has been trained in thievery, yearns to escape from his cruel handler and live freely.

The chaos begins when Kyle, intrigued by Rutledge, accidentally activates a mini-pulley system. This mishap sends Brian tumbling down a laundry chute, creating further havoc within the hotel premises.

Seizing the moment amidst the chaos, Dunston manages to escape and finds an ally in Kyle. Their burgeoning friendship sets off a series of complications throughout the hotel as Dunston's antics disrupt guests.

As Dunston continues to wreak havoc, Robert is pushed to his limits and calls in animal control expert Buck LaFarge. The situation escalates as LaFarge attempts to capture the mischievous orangutan to restore order.

Kyle and Brian devise a clever plan to disguise Dunston as Dr. Lamb Binh Ngoc and hide him in the hotel's Presidential suite. Their efforts are thwarted when Rutledge discovers the monkey and captures Kyle.

Undeterred, Dunston and Kyle manage a daring escape to the ballroom where they snatch incriminating evidence from Rutledge's room. This leads to a cascade of wild events as they evade capture.

Robert confronts Rutledge in the kitchen, frustrated by the continuous chaos caused by Dunston. Meanwhile, Kyle and Brian desperately try to evade both LaFarge and Mrs. Dubrow, who blames Kyle for the mess.

In a surprising turn of events, Lionel Spalding reveals his role in the pandemonium, much to everyone's shock. As LaFarge attempts to tranquilize Dunston, the hotel's fortunes take a nosedive.

The authorities apprehend Rutledge, bringing an end to the chaos for the moment. LaFarge gives an insincere apology to Dunston, who responds with defiance, slapping him at the time.

In the aftermath, Robert, Kyle, and Brian are offered a chance to manage a new Majestic Hotel in Bali. They extend an invitation to Lionel Spalding, aiming to reconcile their differences.

Just when they believe tranquility has returned, Dunston's playful mischief resurfaces dramatically. In a hilarious turn of events, a large coconut falls from the sky, hitting Spalding on the head.
