Georgekutty, an orphan who dropped out in the 4th grade, has become a cable TV businessman in Rajakkad. He shares a simple life with his wife Rani and their daughters Anju and Anu. His encyclopedic film knowledge earns him respect among the locals and anchors his family's hopes.

During a nature camp, Varun Prabhakar secretly films Anju in a bathroom, then uses the footage to blackmail her. He coerces her to have sex with him, exploiting his influence and position. The threat casts a dark shadow over the family as Varun's presence looms large.

That night Varun comes to their home and demands that Rani sleep with him. Anju confronts him; in the ensuing struggle, she accidentally strikes Varun in the head, killing him. Realizing the danger, the family quickly weighs their options to avoid exposure.

To conceal the crime, they bury Varun's body in a compost pit, with Anu witnessing the act. They move quickly to erase evidence and hide the truth from the police. The incident marks the start of Georgekutty's elaborate plan to outsmart the investigation.

Georgekutty begins to craft an airtight alibi to protect his family. He removes the broken phone and arranges receipts, tickets, and a staged restaurant and travel timeline. His calculations aim to fool investigators and buy time.

He disposes of Varun's car and tries to lay low, while the local constable Sahadevan watches with a grudge against him. The act heightens suspicion and foreshadows a stubborn, personal conflict in the upcoming investigation. Georgekutty believes his careful deception remains hidden.

To reinforce the alibi, the family goes on a trip—a religious retreat, followed by a movie and a restaurant. They present the tickets as proof of their movements on the critical day. The plan relies on convincing witnesses and the appearance of ordinary family life.

Geetha, Varun's mother and the police chief, launches an inquiry into Varun's disappearance. Her team interviews people and reviews the alibis, pressing for answers. The investigation quickly points toward Georgekutty and his family.

Geetha interrogates the family and local business owners, testing their alibis against timelines. The restaurant and cinema receipts appear to support their story, yet subtle inconsistencies hint that something is off. The owners' statements begin to uncover cracks in the supposedly solid alibi.

Georgekutty and his family are arrested and subjected to brutal questioning, with Sahadevan pressing them to reveal the truth. The coercion heightens fear but also pushes the family to stand firm on their questions and protect one another. The line between justice and brutality becomes blurred in the village police station.

Geetha learns from Varun's friend Alex about Anju's video created by Varun. The tension rises as Anu reveals where the body is buried, following the pressure from the investigation. They search the compost pit and initially find only a cow carcass, suggesting the body has been moved.

Georgekutty and Anu go to the media to complain about Sahadevan's torture, triggering public outrage. The village bands together to support the family, Sahadevan is suspended, and Geetha resigns in protest. The case shifts from quietly concealed harm to a broader moral confrontation.

Geetha and her husband Prabhakar meet with Georgekutty to seek forgiveness for their earlier harshness and Varun's perverted actions. Georgekutty remains wary, sensing foul play and choosing not to reveal everything yet. He continues to navigate the legal process with guarded resolve.

On remand, Georgekutty signs the register at the newly built police station. As he exits, the twist is revealed: Varun's body is buried beneath the police station, proving how far his plan went and exposing the village's complicity.
