Doghouse

Vince is depressed after his divorce, and six friends decide to lift his spirits with a boys' weekend. They hire a minibus and recruit Candy, the driver, to take them to Moodley. Banksy misses the bus and travels to Moodley on his own, setting up a separate thread of events.

The group arrives and finds Moodley quiet and surprisingly devoid of women, creating an eerie, unsettled mood. They drive through a town that feels almost empty of the population they came to find. The atmosphere foreshadows the danger ahead.

On the way back to the minibus, they witness a hooded teenage girl being attacked by a man in a military uniform. They rush to help, and in the confusion the girl uses the soldier's knife to stab Neil. They drag the unconscious soldier to safety, but Candy has already become infected and more infected women appear, forcing them to retreat.

Inside a house owned by Mikey's grandmother, the soldier admits the town has been infected by a biological agent that turns women into cannibals. The men realize they are in grave danger and must find shelter. The threat becomes a reality as more infected women close in.

They attempt to use the wounded Neil as bait to lure Candy back toward the bus, but two more infected women join her and all chase them into the streets. The group scatters through the town, hiding in a toy store, a clothes shop, and a butcher shop while Patrick ends up trapped on a billboard.

Neil is trapped by a morbidly obese woman who cuts off his little finger and eats it, but he eventually escapes. He is later reunited with the others in the local church. The danger escalates as the group moves toward a more secure shelter.

Inside the church, they discover a military command center powering a response to the outbreak. Matt gets the computers going, and they briefly talk to Meg Nut, a local politician who had been involved in distributing the toxin disguised as washing powder. The group learns human complicity behind the biological threat.

The soldier explains the existence of a sonar device designed to stun evolving Phase 2 monsters. The device initially seems promising, but it stops functioning when deployed, leaving the group vulnerable. Amid the chaos, the soldier is killed by Mikey's grandmother.

Matt defeats a monster-nan with a golf club, a moment that weighs heavily on him. Traumatized by what he has done, he wanders off to cool down and is ultimately killed by a Phase 2 monster that emerges from the church basement.

The survivors discover a nest where women feast on the bodies of men in the basement. They barricade themselves on the church roof as more blood-crazed women break into the building. Tension rises as the defenders face wave after wave of attackers.

Banksy arrives with a ladder and helps the group get onto a vehicle. The Smart car they hoped would transport everyone is too small, and Patrick is killed in the struggle. Banksy is killed as Vince fights off Candy, heightening the sense of peril for the remaining survivors.

Graham's voice crackles over the walkie-talkie, urging them to keep going. Graham powers up the stun-device with a high-voltage power supply, but Vince accidentally drops and breaks it, wounding their last hope to halt the infected. The device failure unleashes renewed danger as the group struggles to escape.

With the injured Graham and the device destroyed, the four remaining survivors make a break for it, running into the unknown with a sense of defiant humor. The ending leaves their fate and Moodley's future uncertain, but their resolve to survive remains intact.
