Pete the Pup is upset after his owner Joe stops playing with him for love. A dog friend intervenes as Pete attempts to hang himself, noting he turned to drink, was expelled by Joe, and was blamed when another dog knocked Joe’s sweetheart into a lake. The story asks whether he will follow through or receive an apology.
