Dinosaur Island

Lucas, a curious 13-year-old, explores his grandmother's old house which is up for sale and finds a mysterious crystal tucked away in a box. The moment he touches it, the crystal glows and his interest in it grows. This discovery sets the stage for an extraordinary journey beyond the ordinary world.

On a flight, Lucas places the crystal on the next empty seat and it begins to glow. A disaster strikes the plane, and Lucas awakens in a strange land filled with ghost ships and prehistoric creatures. He must figure out what has happened and how to survive in this perilous realm.

Lucas searches for signs of life and is drawn toward a distant radio broadcast that cuts through the mist. In the jungle, he meets Kate, a beautiful girl who claims to be from the 1950s, and she offers him her diary, which she calls the 'Survival Guide'. The two realize their crystals are connected and that mystery runs deeper than it seems.

Lucas befriends Mimos, a Sinornithosaurus who can mimic any sound it hears. Kate explains that she once possessed a similar crystal, hinting at a shared destiny. The creature's talent for duplication foreshadows the crystal's mysterious influence over the world they inhabit.

A minor earthquake stirs the ground and releases a shimmering mist that fills the air. The mist seems tied to the crystal network, pulling planes from different times into this land, though the planes are empty yet loaded with useful supplies. Lucas and Kate realize the key to returning home lies in understanding these stones.

The duo is captured by tribal people while exploring a crashed airplane and is placed in a pyramid-shaped wooden cage. A fellow prisoner recognizes Lucas's crystal and calls it a 'sing sing stone'. He explains that larger crystals between the twin volcanoes generate the mist and pull planes from other times.

Lucas and Kate escape through the top of the cage and make a break for safety. Kate frees some large pterosaurs, which become their ride toward the volcanic twin area. The escape marks a turning point as they regain mobility and momentum in their quest.

They ride the pterosaurs toward the volcanic twins but suffer a rough landing near the crags. A Tyrannosaurus pursues them, and Mimos imitates the roar to scare the predator away. They fend off other dromaeosaurs as they push toward a hidden cave.

At the cave between the twin volcanoes, Lucas fills a jar with water and uses its sound to activate the sleeping crystals. A dromaeosaur grabs Mimos during the critical moment, creating a tense setback. Mimos wakes up, imitates the jar's song, and escapes, rekindling hope as the crystals begin to glow.

The crystals glow and a portal forms, offering a path back to their world. Kate insists she will not go back without the diary, so Lucas steps through first and she follows. Lucas awakens in a hospital, unsettled by the journey and its implications.

Lucas meets his grandmother, Kathryn, in the hospital, who jokes that she prefers Kate. It is revealed that Kathryn is actually Kate from the island. With the survival diary as proof, Kate receives the Nobel Prize for Science, cementing their incredible adventure in history.

Back on the island, Mimos is seen peacefully riding on the back of a sauropod leader, suggesting time-displaced beings can thrive there. The image closes the adventure with a calm note and hints at ongoing mysteries surrounding the portal. The end leaves space for future discoveries, even as Kate’s legacy remains secure.
