Despicable Me 3

Following the events of the previous film, Gru takes on the new role of an agent for the Anti-Villain League (AVL) alongside his wife Lucy. They now work to combat the schemes of villains instead of engaging in villainy themselves.

Gru and Lucy's latest mission leads them to confront Balthazar Bratt, a former child star turned super-villain. Bratt plans to steal a valuable diamond, which Gru successfully prevents, but he fails to catch Bratt in the process.

After a series of failed attempts to apprehend Bratt, Gru and Lucy are fired by the new director of the AVL, Valerie Da Vinci. They return home to break the news to their children, Margo, Edith, and Agnes, emphasizing their belief in future opportunities.

Feeling dejected about their new life, Dr. Nefario encases himself in carbonite, representing the low morale among Gru's former associates. Many of Gru's Minions abandon ship when Gru opts not to pursue his previous villainous lifestyle.

The next morning, Gru receives an unexpected visitor named Fritz, who is a butler for his long-lost twin brother, Dru. Fritz reveals that Dru, living in Freedonia, is eager to meet Gru, prompting excitement and curiosity in the family.

Intrigued by the news of his brother, Gru consults his mother and learns about their family's past. The family sets off to Freedonia, where they discover that Dru has become wealthy from a successful pig farming business.

While Gru's family is in Freedonia, the Minions get into trouble after breaking into a talent show site where they are swiftly arrested. Their mischief leads them to regret leaving Gru and sparks a yearning to be reunited with him.

Despite Gru and Lucy's efforts, Balthazar Bratt manages to steal the diamond again. He plans to use it to power a giant robot with intentions of exacting revenge on Hollywood for canceling his TV series.

As Gru spends time with Dru, they bond over their father’s high-tech car. Dru expresses his desire to learn the ways of villainy from Gru, who grapples with the temptation of returning to his old ways.

While exploring their surroundings, Agnes and Edith hear tales of a mystical unicorn and go on a quest to find it. They encounter a one-horned goat, which Agnes joyfully names 'Lucky' as she believes it to be the unicorn.

As the Minions long for Gru, they devise an escape plan from their prison. They manage to take control of the facility but are driven by a strong desire to reunite with their beloved leader.

Dru persuades Gru to partake in one last heist to reclaim the diamond from Bratt's hideout. Gru secretly hopes to recover the diamond to get back into the AVL's good graces, but their partnership is tested during the mission.

Bratt disguises himself as Lucy to kidnap Gru's children and retrieves the diamond yet again. This betrayal forces Gru and Dru to put aside their differences and team up to save the children and stop Bratt's chaos.

Bratt unleashes his giant robot on Hollywood while Lucy heroically rescues the children. In a high-stakes battle, Gru and Dru utilize their father's car’s weaponry to combat the threat, showcasing their brotherly strengths.

After an intense showdown, Gru and Dru successfully defeat Bratt, with Gru regaining consciousness just in time to confront him in a dance-off. With all chaos resolved, the family reunites, and Gru and Lucy return to their roles at the AVL.
