Deewana Mastana

Raja runs a black-market railway-ticket racket at Amirpur Station, tiring of small-time schemes and dreaming bigger profits. He collaborates with his friend Ghafoor to plan a major heist. The setup foreshadows the more dangerous path his life will take.

Raja, Ghafoor, and a police inspector stage a robbery of Rs 2.5 million from the railway treasury. The heist shows Raja's growing audacity and willingness to break the law. After grabbing the loot, they bump off the inspector to ensure their getaway.

Raja and Gafoor flee to Mumbai with the stolen money. At the Mumbai airport, Raja spots Neha Sharma and falls in love at first sight. Their encounter sets off a complicated romance that will clash with their criminal plans.

In a Mumbai hotel, Raja assumes the name Raj Kumar and tries to befriend Neha, claiming he has just returned from America. He fabricates that his driver Gafoor is suffering from a mental disorder where he sees every beautiful girl as his bhabhi. Gafoor warns Raja to exercise patience in love.

Neha treats Bunnu, the son of a wealthy businessman, who suffers multiple phobias. She coaches him to cope with his fears using 'Baby steps'. Bunnu falls for Neha and discovers he has a rival in Raja.

Neha leaves for Ooty with her father to attend her uncle's wedding. She does not leave behind a forwarding address, complicating her love interests' search. This absence sets the stage for the pursuit to move to a new city.

In Ooty, Raja and Gafoor impersonate policemen to interrogate Neha's secretary and extract her whereabouts. The secretary reveals Neha's location, guiding them toward her new city. Neha is unexpectedly found in Ooty and is thrilled to see them, though she is drawn toward Bunnu.

Neha grows closer to Bunnu, the ill but charming boy, rather than Raja. The mounting rivalry between Raja and Bunnu intensifies as both vie for Neha's affection. The romantic tension becomes a central conflict in the trio's dynamic.

Gafoor makes another attempt on Bunnu's life, attempting to kill him, but the attempt fails as Bunnu escapes. The family danger sharpens the stakes for everyone involved. The failed attempt pushes the plot toward a climactic confrontation.

Bunnu contracts the contract killer Pappu Pager to bump off Raja. The plan backfires, failing to eliminate Raja and escalating the danger and chaos among the love rivals. The failure compounds the tension between the remaining characters.

Neha calls Bunnu and Raja to a court ostensibly with the purpose of marriage. Both are surprised to see the other there, unaware of her true intentions. The scene sets up the final revelation and confrontation between the rivals.

It is revealed that Neha is actually marrying Prem. Raja and Bunnu find themselves as witnesses to the wedding, closing the romantic triangle with a twist. The film ends with the formal union while the two rivals come to terms with the outcome.
