An unexpected incident occurs when one of the Mako sharks escapes its holding pen, leading it to target a boat filled with young adults. Wrangler Carter Blake intervenes just in time and uses darts to subdue the shark, showcasing his expertise in handling the dangerous creatures.

Concerned about the incident and the $200 million investment at stake, corporate executive Russell Franklin arrives to evaluate the situation. His presence raises tensions among the crew, as they delicately navigate the aftermath of the shark escape.
