The Wendigo is an ancient and malevolent spirit that haunts the Northeastern wilderness. Once the group enters its territory, the Wendigo relentlessly hunts them, adding a supernatural horror element beyond the Bigfoot-like creature threat.

Everett is a graduate student who leads the expedition and is obsessed with proving Bigfoot exists. His fixation drives him to manipulate situations and use Lilly as bait to lure the creature, showing how obsession can push people toward dangerous, reckless choices that endanger the entire group.

Isabella is a member of the expedition who secretly takes a green-stoned necklace she discovers. This artifact proves to be cursed, as she becomes possessed by a malevolent force that turns her against her own group, leading to violent confrontations and demonstrating how possession can erode trust.

Dr. Dennis Kasdan is the professor who leads the graduate student expedition into the wilderness. He guides the group through the dangerous terrain and serves as their mentor during the crisis, though he is killed during the cabin assault by the creatures.

Lilly is a quick-thinking member of the expedition who prioritizes survival above all else. She endures being abducted by Everett as bait, but ultimately fights to rescue herself while trying to keep Chris focused on their escape. Her bond with Chris helps them plan and execute their survival strategy.

The group faces two distinct threats: a Bigfoot-like creature known as The Creature that stalks them through the forest, and the ancient Wendigo spirit that relentlessly hunts them once they intrude on its territory. They also encounter another beast called The Squatch, adding to their night of terror.
