Jasper Rawlins, an aspiring but struggling musician, meets a striking woman at a local bar and brings her home. That night she is murdered during a break‑in, and the police dismiss his story, releasing him while they search for the weapon. Determined, Jasper investigates, encountering a savvy pornographer, ruthless hitmen and a shadowy corporation. As bodies pile up and the police close in, he must decide whom he can truly trust.
