Teddy Murretto, a con artist and fixer, finds himself pursued by dangerous individuals. In a stolen unmarked police vehicle, he tries to escape but ends up stranded near a crowded casino in Nevada, setting off a series of desperate events.

In a bid to evade capture, Murretto initiates a clever plan during a chaotic brawl outside the casino. He sucker-punches rookie officer Valerie Young, knowing that his arrest would provide him a temporary refuge from his relentless pursuers.

Viddick, a lethal hitman on Murretto's trail, concocts his own scheme to enter the same jail where Murretto is held. By pretending to be intoxicated and crashing his car, he ensures his incarceration under the guise of a drunken man.

While initially held in separate cells, Viddick creates chaos by detonating a small explosive device at the police station's entrance. This distraction allows him to escape and incapacitate a fellow inmate, seizing a firearm amidst the confusion.
