A hard‑nosed police officer whose career is on the brink of collapse finds his superiors waiting for a reason to fire him. When he aids a 17‑year‑old street kid, she steals his service weapon and disappears. He must report the loss, forcing him to track her down. Their chase leads to the Dutch border, where the police seize the case, leaving the cop and the girl on the run together, directionless and desperate.
