Chicken for Linda!

Paulette, a widowed mother, feels intense guilt after punishing her daughter Linda for losing her engagement ring. The ring was actually swallowed by their cat, but Paulette's misunderstanding strains their relationship.

Against the backdrop of a general strike that has brought the city to a standstill, Paulette sets out to buy a chicken for the meal. Unfamiliar with cooking, she is determined to fulfill her daughter's wish.

Once they reach Jean-Michel's grandmother’s house, they realize she has never killed a chicken. This revelation leaves them without a solution, amplifying their predicament.
