In an alternate timeline, Fairy Zixia uses the Pandora’s Box to leap forward in time and glimpse the consequences of leaving a tear in Joker’s heart. In Heaven, Guanyin delivers the subdued Monkey King to the Jade Emperor. The Jade Emperor worries about the overwhelming demon presence and questions the integrity of the Sealed Book, which he assures will not err. He reveals that the Monkey King’s identity has a twist: the Six-Eared Monkey is introduced as a bridge to fill the Monkey King’s role until Joker arrives from the future, a revelation that drives the Jade Emperor to ultimately condemn the Six-Eared Monkey to a fiery fate in the Great Oven.

Back at the Bull Demon King’s home, Zixia and Qingxia discuss the possibility of a quiet married life with the demon lord. Zixia soon confronts Princess Iron Fan and her son Red Child, triggering a clash that leaves the Bull Demon King scrambling to stall for time. Joker and the Longevity Monk manage a narrow escape after stealing the Bull King’s fiery wheels, and the trio seeks refuge at Xiang Xiang’s palace. There they face a brutal test: Xiang Xiang devours a man whole, and Zixia discloses the truth about her past demise to Joker while the Longevity Monk’s theme music underscores their precarious situation. The Bull Demon King arrives to confront Xiang Xiang about a former lover named Mantis, a memory Xiang Xiang clings to even as she is drawn into the chaos.

As the wedding preparations progress, Xiang Xiang’s appetite draws the scrutiny of all, and the Bull Demon King and Xiang Xiang realize that Joker and Zixia’s bond threatens their plans. The Longevity Monk amplifies the moment with the ensemble’s main motif, and the trio’s kiss between Joker and Zixia becomes a spectacle watched by all, including Xiang Xiang and the Bull Demon King. The King’s sister Xiang Xiang, intrigued by Joker, appears willing to pursue him, complicating the prophecy. The Bull Demon King and his spouse must weigh the fallout of a union that might unite rivals, while Qingxia’s presence in Zixia’s body hints at deeper schemes.

In Heaven, the Jade Emperor is stunned to learn that the Sealed Book has changed once more. He frees the Six-Eared Monkey from the Great Oven and discovers that the Longevity Monk is actually the Monkey in disguise, and that Qingxia had foreknowledge of the Sealed Book’s error. Qingxia regains her body, and Six-Eared Monkey resumes the search to rescue his son, while maintaining the pretense that Joker is not the Monkey King. Six-Eared Monkey crashes the wedding, exposing his affair with the Princess Iron Fan, and a fierce battle erupts as the heavenly and earthly forces collide. Qingxia intervenes, trading places with Zixia to keep the prophecy intact, albeit with key changes.

The final chapters culminate in a dramatic reconciliation of the Bull Demon King’s family. Xiang Xiang is forced to confront her urges as she duels for control, and the heavenly host provides backup as Six-Eared Monkey battles the Bull household. The clash ends with Xiang Xiang sealed and Qingxia’s intervention pivotal to sealing the outcome. The Heavenly Army’s arrival and General Li Jing’s efforts push toward a final blow, sealing Xiang Xiang away and restoring balance.

Five hundred years later, Six-Eared Monkey accompanies his son and disciples on a pilgrimage, while Joker and Zixia look on from a high wall, sharing a kiss and contemplating reunion. Longevity Monk has become a Buddha, and his parents stay as the wick for the Buddha’s Lamp, until the Jade Emperor returns with news that the Sealed Book has changed again, leaving the fate of their world poised on a fresh turn of the wheel.

This tale blends mythic lineage with time-twisted fate, weaving threads of love, loyalty, and destiny through a labyrinth of loyalties and revelations, where past and future collide to shape who Jokers and Zixia become, and where old bonds are tested by new truths.
