Saaradhi is a reflective drama built around a writer and widower facing a pressing personal crisis: his young daughter’s chronic illness leaves him desperate for 5 lakhs. Haseena, Richa Panai in her arc, accepts a marriage proposal from a wealthy Dubai-based bachelor she hasn’t met in person, choosing to trust a photograph over face-to-face knowledge. She travels to Dubai only to discover that her husband is far older than the photo suggested and earns his living as a taxi driver, a revelation that unsettles her and redefines the meaning of the union she pursued. The betrayal hurts Ashraf, adding a layer of heartbreak to the book’s mosaic and highlighting how dreams of security can collide with harsh reality.

Renu’s segment, portrayed by Varshini Sounderajan, centers on a slick con artist named Raghu who pretends to care while scheming to trap her for money. Raghu ingeniously convinces Renu to elope, but just when his plan seems near completion, her father intervenes. The ensuing turn of events rocks the younger woman’s world and raises questions about trust, love, and the costs of seeking fortune.

Raju’s chapter follows a different energy. One night, he slips into Gowri’s home only to be caught, and social pressures push the couple toward marriage. Raju then relocates to the city, taking a municipal job, while Gowri faces a tragic, premature delivery; she dies in childbirth while not yet sixteen, leaving Raju to raise their daughter and navigate a heartache that reshapes his future and his responsibilities.

In the Saritha–Mohan thread, two youths who were unable to marry in their teenage years finally grasp a second chance at happiness. They seize it by choosing to travel together on a road trip, testing the resilience of their bond and the extent to which love can endure when historical constraints dissolve.

The Beggar, a figure tied to the city’s hidden economy, hides ten lakhs across several small stash spots. He dreams of buying a house with the money, striking a deal to secure a new place to live, but death comes quietly in his sleep the night before the deal can close, sealing a poignant reminder that fortune remains elusive even for the most careful schemer. Krishneswara Rao gives the character a quiet, human gravity that threads through the film’s urban tapestry.

Meanwhile, Lisa Smith, played by Lakshmi Manchu, and Venkateshwara Rao drift into a shared night at a bar, a moment that leads them toward a quiet, unexpected companionship and, ultimately, marriage. The film circles back to Saaradhi’s own narrative as he finishes the final pages of his manuscript and seeks a publisher, only to discover the writer’s own fortunes are as unsettled as the characters he created.

The story converges when Saaradhi discovers the beggar’s bag containing the 10 lakhs, which becomes a crucial turning point: the money helps heal his daughter and, with the leftover funds, he enables Gowri’s husband to care for his own child.
