In the final act, Sydney discovers that the private‑equity firm she works for plans to sell Château Cassell to a third party, leaving the family’s beloved winery in the hands of a buyer who would hide the deal from Hugo. Unable to betray the trust Hugo has placed in her, she confronts him and, citing her own mother’s failed business, urges him to protect the estate. Disillusioned, Sydney quits the deal and departs the vineyard, believing she has done all she can.

Henri, who is Hugo’s estranged son, finally learns from his father that the great regret that haunts him is not that he failed to take over the business, but that he abandoned his son after his wife died. Encouraged by Sydney’s honesty, Hugo finds the courage to apologize, admitting his neglect and expressing pride in Henri’s desire to forge his own path. The heartfelt exchange breaks down the wall between them, and they leave the conversation with a renewed bond.

When the other prospective buyers are summoned, Hugo surprises everyone by rejecting the corporate offers and choosing the charismatic billionaire Roberto Salazar instead. Roberto, more a lover of the champagne than a traditional manager, agrees to cover the vineyard’s debt and to let Hugo remain at the helm, becoming a silent partner who will preserve the brand’s legacy.

Henri, meanwhile, realizes he misread Sydney’s departure; he thinks she abandoned him for corporate greed. After hearing the truth from the concierge, he races to the bookshop where they first met. Their reunion is tender—Henri apologizes for his mistrust, and Sydney admits she has missed him as well. They decide to stay together, letting go of the fear that their lives must be lived apart.

The film jumps forward a year. Sydney now serves as chief operating officer of the newly opened bookstore‑wine bar Henri has built, called La Petit Rave, a nod to the Little Prince he treasured as a child. Henri runs the shop, Hugo continues to oversee Château Cassell under Roberto’s partnership, and Hugo has begun a romance with Brigitte Laurent, the French buyer who once pitched her own plan. Though the shop is modest rather than wildly profitable, the couple’s life feels fulfilled, and the story ends on a hopeful note that love, family, and authenticity have finally been reclaimed.
