In the bustle of 1970s Bombay, two perpetual drifters navigate a city that seems as eager for quick fixes as they are. Ajay and Bhola float from one odd job to the next, their days filled with makeshift photography gigs and the constant search for an easy payday. Their world is cramped and chaotic, a narrow rented flat that they share with a perpetually forgiving landlady, whose granddaughter slips in and out of the building like a secret ally.

Inside that modest rooftop sanctuary, a gentle romance begins to blossom. Deepa, the landlady’s bright‑eyed granddaughter, becomes the unexpected heart of the household, offering Ajay a quiet, hopeful connection that softens the pair’s otherwise slap‑dash existence.
