Frank, Adam, and Kevin participate in a hazing ritual that involves planning a robbery of convenience stores as a test of courage. An active brother hands them money and reveals the whole thing is a staged break, not a real crime. The confusion over which stores to target leads Kevin to actually attempt the robbery, and he is shot in the shoulder. Frank tries to intervene but arrives too late.

After the botched setup, Frank and Adam subdue the store clerk, Mike, who is a high school friend of Adam. They seize him to cover up the earlier incident and preserve the ruse. The event happens at the convenience store during the same night.

The group returns to the fraternity house and clears a party to tend Kevin's wounds. Frank sends Adam and Graham back to the store to recover the security tape and to check on Mike, hoping to quiet any further risk.

On their second visit, they discover the security camera does not work, eliminating immediate evidence. Mike is reluctant to lie to the police to cover their tracks, signaling he's not fully cooperating.

Adam and Graham kidnap Mike and bring him back to the fraternity house, hoping to extract information. Frank refuses to take Kevin to the hospital, fearing police involvement, and instead calls Bean's medical professor to tend to Kevin.

Adam tries to force Mike to confess by secretly recording him, aiming to use the confession as leverage. Mike stops talking once he realizes the recorder is present, undermining Adam's plan.

Emily, Kevin's sister, arrives threatening to call the police over an unrelated prank. As she leaves, she is involved in a car accident with Bean's professor, who suffers a concussion and becomes unable to help Kevin.

With Kevin bleeding and time running out, Frank orders Mike's torture to force cooperation. Officer Jennings, a former member, discovers Kevin but decides to stay quiet and not act, complicating the cover-up.

Adam pushes for hospital access and suggests he can leverage Mike once he learns money is missing from the store. He manages to get Mike to admit the theft, but Mike agrees to cooperate only if the missing money is returned and his name is cleared.

In a tense sequence, Adam and Frank return the stolen money and drop Kevin off at the hospital, claiming it was a hunting accident. The cover story is meant to preserve their fragile alibi as the night spirals out of control.

Adam decides to leave the fraternity, outraged by their arrogance and callousness. When he punches Frank, the other members detain and beat him, arguing that brotherhood and loyalty saved them from punishment.

Jackson returns to the house and recalls that a pledge was locked in a trunk during the party. When they open the trunk, they discover the pledge has died from alcohol poisoning, a grim consequence of their hazing.

Adam finally calls the police and reveals everything, setting off a chain of events that leads to the arrest of Frank and the others. The revelation cements the night as a disastrous culmination of pride, secrecy, and reckless risk.
