In a dystopian future, Earth faces a catastrophic extinction event. The decision is made to select 300,000 survivors to board a spaceship named The Ark, aimed at finding a new home in a colony known as New Earth.

Noah cunningly stows away on The Ark by impersonating a junior janitor while ensuring his pregnant girlfriend Hayley is safely placed in stasis as a passenger. This risky decision sets the stage for the challenges he will face during the voyage.

During the journey, Noah encounters Clay, a surly mechanic who takes him under his wing. Despite their differences, Clay attempts to guide Noah through the harsh realities aboard the ship, helping him navigate impending dangers.

The ship’s crew faces a dire threat as a parasitic force takes hold, having already claimed the lives of veteran mechanics Blue and Shady. Tension arises as Noah grows suspicious of Clay's behavior, leading him to fear for his own safety and that of the remaining crew.

The workers host a spontaneous party to forget their worries for a while, sharing stories about those they left behind. However, the night takes a darker turn when Ortega leaves with Blue, only to be murdered by him shortly after.

Tensions escalate when security officer Stanley discovers Shady's body and correctly identifies Blue as the murderer. The atmosphere on the ship becomes increasingly charged as the crew realizes the depth of their peril.

In a pivotal moment, Noah is arrested for being a stowaway on The Ark. However, Clay intervenes and defends him, leveraging their bond to secure Noah's release just as the situation begins to spiral out of control.

In a shocking turn of events, Teek confesses to unleashing the infection, revealing his radical motivations against the resettlement on New Earth. This admission complicates the already tense situation among the survivors.

With Admiral Adams and his security team now involved, the survivors prepare for a counter-offensive against the infected crew members. The situation becomes increasingly desperate as the infected breach their defenses, leading to a fierce struggle.

Determined to save his friends, Clay takes a stand against the mutated creatures. Despite his brave efforts, he is eventually overpowered as the chaos escalates around him, showcasing the peril the survivors are up against.

Just when it appears that all hope is lost, Clay contacts Noah from the bridge, initiating a self-destruct sequence for The Ark. This drastic decision is meant to eliminate the infected but adds a new layer of urgency to the escape.

As the escape pod begins its launch sequence, tragedy strikes when Chambers loses her life in the chaos. Noah and Hayley make a desperate dash for freedom, but the sacrifices weigh heavily on Noah's conscience.
