Brave Little Tailor

In a medieval kingdom, the king publicly seeks a brave champion to defeat the terrorizing giant. The court debates bravado and virtue as the danger looms over the realm. The quest is born from royal decree and public fear.

Back in the village, a humble tailor named Mickey interrupts a discussion about the giant and loudly boasts that he killed seven flies. The tale quickly mutates into a claim that he killed seven giants, fueling gossip across the town. The king's interest is piqued when this boast reaches his ears, prompting a royal summons.

The king questions the boast and is impressed when Mickey recounts how he supposedly killed seven giants at once. He actually describes seven flies, but the flair lands him the title Royal High Killer of the Giant. The misunderstanding fuels the king's decision to test him further.

The king sweetens the challenge with grand riches and, following Minnie's suggestion, offers the hand of his daughter in marriage if Mickey can subdue the giant. Smitten with Minnie, Mickey accepts the perilous quest and vows to prove himself. The promise raises the stakes and motivates him to move forward.

Mickey, now determined and secretly hopeful, agrees to the mission and sets off toward the giant’s lair. The gates close behind him while the townsfolk cheer, believing he can succeed. He steels himself as he steps into the countryside, the weight of the quest on his shoulders.

The towering giant arrives, stomping through the landscape and leaving devastation in his wake. Mickey frantically hides in a cart of pumpkins, trying to stay out of sight as the giant looms nearby. The spectacle marks the perilous start of their game of cat and mouse.

To avoid being swallowed, Mickey clings to the giant’s uvula, hidden in the pumpkin cart as the beast roars. The giant’s hiccups shake the ground and threaten to reveal the hiding tailor. The moment shows how close Mickey is to disaster.

Trying to remedy the hiccups, the giant pulls a water well from the ground and drinks from it as if it were a thermos. Mickey is saved from being swallowed when he is caught by the well’s bucket and pulled to safety. The peril continues, but the odds shift in Mickey’s favor.

The giant recovers enough to threaten Mickey again, but the tailor pulls a needle and thread from his belt and binds the giant's arms. He then lassos the giant's nose and ties it to his hair, lifting the mass off balance and preventing the giant from opening his eyes. With a swift swing, he trips the beast.

Mickey spins around the giant and trips him, sending a chunk of earth into the air. The earth falls back onto the giant’s head, knocking him unconscious. Silence falls as the threat finally ends and Mickey breathes a sigh of relief.

In the wake of the victory, the area is transformed into an amusement park. The rides are powered by wind from the snoring giant, who is chained to the ground so the kingdom can reuse the site for joy rather than fear. The juxtaposition of danger and merriment becomes the kingdom’s new symbol.

The king, Mickey, and Minnie enjoy a carousel ride as a public acknowledgment of the hero’s triumph and the couple's new life together. The wedding of Mickey and Minnie cements the kingdom’s happiness after the giant’s defeat. Peace returns as the rides whirl beneath the sleeping giant's wind.
